Protect your air filter from moisture and abrasive contaminants with the Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter, Part Number 20-1284-03. This red pre-filter is designed for the Honda TRX300EX Sportrax and provides an additional layer of filtration without noticeably restricting airflow. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh construction helps shield the primary air filter from sand, dirt, clay, and water during off-road riding.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when using this product. The material features uniform micron-sized openings that allow air to enter while filtering particles as small as .005 inches in diameter. Water-resistant silicone impregnation helps improve protection in wet and dusty conditions, supporting consistent engine air supply and extending the service life of the underlying air filter.
Dielectrically welded seams provide a durable, secure construction suited for demanding ATV use. This Outerwears pre-filter fits 1993–2002 Honda TRX300EX Sportrax models. Verify the existing air-filter configuration and vehicle application before installation to ensure proper fitment.
