The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter, Part Number 20-2007-01, is designed to help protect compatible UNI air filters from sand, dirt, clay, water, and other unwanted elements. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh construction is water resistant and uses uniform micron-sized openings to support clean airflow while adding an extra layer of protection for off-road riding conditions.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when using this pre-filter. The material filters particles as small as 0.005 inch in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction, helping maintain engine performance while reducing the amount of debris that reaches the primary air filter. Dielectrically welded seams provide a secure, durable construction suited to the demands of ATV use.
This Outerwears pre-filter fits select 2004–2007 Yamaha YFZ450 models and 2006–2008 Honda TRX450R and TRX450ER Electric Start models. It is intended for use with compatible UNI air filter applications; verify the air filter and vehicle fitment before installation. The compact design installs over the air filter to provide practical protection during dusty, sandy, muddy, and wet riding conditions.
