The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N YA-6601 air filters and helps provide an additional layer of protection in demanding off-road environments. Its red filter cover helps shield the underlying air filter from dust, dirt, mud, and moisture while supporting consistent airflow to the engine. This pre-filter is a practical upgrade for riders who need added air-intake protection during trail riding, racing, and other high-exposure applications.
Designed for the Yamaha YFM660R Raptor, the Outerwears pre-filter fits 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 models. The cover installs over the compatible K&N filter and is intended to work as part of the existing air-intake system without replacing the primary filter. Its protective construction helps extend service intervals by reducing the amount of airborne debris reaching the main filter, while maintaining the airflow required for reliable engine operation.
This red Outerwears ATV pre-filter is identified by manufacturer part number 20-1015-03 and vendor part number 25-5869R. Verify the existing air-filter model and vehicle application before installation to ensure proper fitment. It is suited for Yamaha YFM660R Raptor owners seeking a durable, application-specific filter cover for improved protection in dusty and wet riding conditions.
