The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with the K&N YA-6601 air filter on select Yamaha YFM660R Raptor models. This protective filter cover helps shield the primary air filter from dust, dirt, sand, and other off-road debris while supporting consistent airflow to the engine. It is a practical upgrade for riders who regularly operate in demanding trail, desert, and recreational riding environments.
Engineered by Outerwears, the pre-filter uses a durable, breathable material that helps reduce the amount of airborne contamination reaching the reusable K&N filter element. Its water-resistant construction offers added protection from light moisture and changing riding conditions without replacing the function of the motorcycle’s primary air filter. Proper installation and routine cleaning can help maintain airflow and extend service intervals between primary filter maintenance.
Fitment: This Outerwears pre-filter fits Yamaha YFM660R Raptor models from 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 when equipped with the K&N YA-6601 air filter.
