The OUTERWEARS ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N YA-3502 air filters, providing an additional layer of protection for off-road engines operating in dusty, sandy, muddy, or wet environments. Its blue silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material helps resist water while allowing the engine to receive the airflow needed for responsive performance. Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when this pre-filter is installed.
Uniform micron-sized openings help block unwanted contaminants, including sand, dirt, clay, and water, before they reach the underlying air filter. The material filters particles as small as .005 inch without noticeable airflow restriction, helping extend air-filter service intervals and reduce exposure to harsh trail debris. Dielectrically welded seams provide a durable, secure construction suited to demanding ATV use.
Fitment: Fits 2000–2005 Bombardier DS 650 models, including the 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 DS 650; 2005 DS 650X; and 2002–2004 DS 650 Baja models. Verify the existing air filter model before installation to confirm compatibility with the K&N YA-3502 application. This OUTERWEARS product is identified by manufacturer part number 20-1005-02 and vendor part number 25-5808B.
