The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with the K&N YA-3502 air filter and provides an additional layer of protection in demanding off-road environments. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh construction helps resist water while allowing consistent airflow to the engine. Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower loss or noticeable reduction in air intake when this pre-filter is installed.
Uniform micron-sized openings allow air to pass through while helping filter out sand, dirt, clay, and water before these contaminants reach the primary air filter. The material filters particles as small as 0.005 inches in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction. Dielectrically welded seams provide a secure, durable construction suitable for recreational and performance-focused ATV applications.
This Outerwears pre-filter fits the 2013 Yamaha YFM700 Raptor and Bombardier DS 650 models from 2000 through 2005, including the DS 650X and DS 650 Baja variants from applicable model years. Verify the existing air filter application before installation to ensure compatibility. Manufactured by Outerwears, this product is identified by manufacturer part number 20-1005-01 and vendor part number 25-5808.
