Protect your ATV air filter with the Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter, designed for use with the K&N RU-3480 filter. This water-resistant pre-filter uses silicone-impregnated micro-mesh to help block sand, dirt, clay, and water before they reach the primary air filter. The uniform micron-sized openings allow air to enter while filtering particles as small as .005 inches without noticeable airflow restriction.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when using this Outerwears pre-filter. Dielectrically welded seams provide a secure, durable construction that is well suited for off-road riding conditions. The pre-filter helps extend air filter service intervals and adds an extra layer of protection in dusty, muddy, or wet environments.
