The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N RU-0210 air filters and helps provide an additional layer of protection for off-road engines. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material is water resistant and helps prevent sand, dirt, clay, and water from reaching the primary air filter. The pre-filter is engineered for outdoor riding conditions where airborne debris and moisture can affect air filter performance.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when using this product. The material uses uniform micron-sized openings that allow air to pass through while filtering particles as small as 0.005 inches in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction. Dielectrically welded seams help create a durable construction suited for demanding ATV applications.
