The OUTERWEARS ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N PL-1004 air filters and helps provide an additional layer of protection against contaminants encountered during off-road riding. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material is water resistant and helps shield the underlying filter from sand, dirt, clay, and water while maintaining efficient airflow.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower loss or intake airflow reduction when using this pre-filter. The material features uniform micron-sized openings that filter particles as small as .005 inches in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction. Dielectrically welded seams help create a durable construction suited to demanding ATV applications.
Fitment includes 2008 Polaris Sportsman 300 4x4, 2009 Polaris Sportsman 300 4x4, 2006-2007 Polaris Hawkeye 300 2X4, 2006-2007 Polaris Hawkeye 300 4X4, 2006-2007 Polaris Sawtooth, and 2005-2006 Polaris Phoenix 200.
