The OUTERWEARS ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N BD-6506 air filters, helping protect the primary filter from sand, dirt, clay, water, and other unwanted elements. Its silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material is water resistant and engineered to provide added protection in demanding off-road environments without significantly restricting airflow.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant loss of horsepower or air intake when using this pre-filter. The material contains uniform micron-sized openings that allow air to pass through while filtering particles as small as .005 inches in diameter. Dielectrically welded seams provide a secure, durable construction suited to recreational and utility ATV use.
This OUTERWEARS pre-filter, manufacturer part number 20-1051-01 and vendor part number 25-5821, fits select Can-Am and Bombardier Outlander and Can-Am Renegade models equipped with the compatible K&N BD-6506 filter. Confirm the existing air filter model and vehicle application before installation.
