The OUTERWEARS 20-1010-03 Red ATV Pre-Filter is designed to provide an added layer of protection for the air filter on select Yamaha Raptor 700 models. Its universal-style fit is compatible with the 2006–2009 Yamaha YFM700R Raptor, 2007–2009 YFM700RSE Raptor SE, and 2007 YFM700RY Raptor GYTR Edition. Verify the original airbox and filter configuration before installation.
Manufactured by OUTERWEARS and identified by manufacturer part number 20-1010-03 and vendor part number 25-5811R, this red pre-filter uses silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material to help resist water while screening out sand, dirt, clay, and other unwanted contaminants. The material features uniform micron-sized openings that promote airflow while filtering particles as small as 0.005 inches in diameter.
Dyno and flow-bench testing has shown no significant horsepower loss or noticeable restriction to air intake when this pre-filter is used. Dielectrically welded seams help provide a secure, durable construction for off-road riding conditions. The pre-filter helps reduce the amount of debris reaching the primary air filter, supporting cleaner intake air and potentially extending service intervals in dusty or wet environments.
