The National Cycle Switchblade Shorty-Clear Windshield is designed for 2003–2009 Honda VTX1300R/S/T motorcycles. This removable windshield uses a quick-release design that allows the shield to be unlocked and removed without tools when paired with National Cycle's Quick-Release Mount Kit, which is required and sold separately.

The windshield features a 4.0 mm thick Quantum® hardcoated polycarbonate screen for impact and scratch resistance. Stainless steel mount brackets glide on and off the stainless steel mount spools, while the hardware uses thick-gauge material with beveled-edge detailing and a high-polish or bright-chrome finish. The windshield is covered by a three-year manufacturer's warranty against breakage.
