The Namura NX-70020-CK Top End Kit is designed for select KTM 50 SX and Husqvarna TC 50 models with Nikasil-plated cylinders. This complete top-end solution includes a piston, piston rings, wrist pin, retaining clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit for a comprehensive engine rebuild. The piston is manufactured using a hypereutectic casting process that increases silicon content, helping reduce expansion, improve wear resistance, and withstand elevated cylinder temperatures.
Namura uses a MOS2, or Teflon/Molybdenum, coated piston skirt to help reduce friction, improve heat transfer, and minimize the risk of cold seizures. The coating is applied through a rolled-on process that creates a stronger bond than many spray-on alternatives. The piston also features a machined smooth head designed to reflect combustion heat, help reduce carbon buildup, and protect the piston crown during operation.
The anodized dome improves heat resistance and durability, while providing added protection in demanding riding conditions. This Namura top-end kit is sized for a 39.48 mm piston with a 0.02 mm oversize specification and is intended for compatible Nikasil-cylinder applications. Fitment includes the 2009–2017 KTM 50 SX and the 2017 Husqvarna TC 50. Verify the model year, cylinder type, and existing piston specification before installation to ensure proper compatibility.
