The NAMURA NX-20085-CK Top End Kit is designed for 2001 through 2010 Kawasaki KX85 models with a Nikasil-plated cylinder. This complete top-end replacement kit includes a piston, piston rings, wrist pin, retaining clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit for a convenient engine rebuild solution. The piston features a 48.47 mm bore size and a 9.2:1 compression ratio to support reliable performance and proper fitment.

NAMURA uses a hypereutectic casting process to provide increased silicon content, reduced expansion, improved wear resistance, and dependable operation at elevated cylinder temperatures. The MOS2, or Teflon/Molybdenum, coated piston skirts use a rolled-on application process that creates a stronger bond than conventional spray-on coatings. This coating helps improve heat transfer, reduce friction, and minimize the risk of cold seizures during operation.

The piston also incorporates machined smooth heads to reflect combustion heat, help reduce carbon buildup, and protect the piston crown. Anodized domes improve heat resistance and durability, with greater strength than non-anodized piston domes. This top-end kit is manufactured by NAMURA and supplied under vendor part number NX-20085-CK. It fits 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 Kawasaki KX85 motorcycles.
