The Namura NX-10026K1 Top End Kit is designed for 1992 through 1996 Honda CR250R models with a Nikasil-plated cylinder and standard bore. This complete top-end replacement kit includes a piston, piston rings, wrist pin, wrist pin clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit, providing the essential components needed for a reliable engine rebuild.

The piston uses Namura's hypereutectic casting process to increase silicon content, reduce expansion rates, and improve wear resistance under elevated cylinder temperatures. MOS2, or Teflon/molybdenum, coated skirts are applied through a rolled-on process that creates a durable bond while helping reduce friction, improve heat transfer, and minimize the risk of cold seizures. The piston is engineered for a 66.34 mm standard-bore application with an 8.5:1 compression ratio.

Additional design features include a machined smooth head that helps reflect combustion heat and reduce carbon buildup, supporting piston protection and efficient engine operation. The anodized dome improves heat resistance and durability, while providing greater strength than a non-anodized piston. The included gasket kit and top-end bearing help simplify installation when servicing the upper end of the engine.

Fitment: This Namura top-end kit fits 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 Honda CR250R motorcycles. Verify the cylinder type, bore specification, compression ratio, and existing engine configuration before installation to ensure proper compatibility.

Features:

  • Complete Top End Kit: Includes piston, rings, wrist pin, wrist pin clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit.
  • MOS2-Coated Skirts: Rolled-on Teflon and molybdenum coating helps reduce friction, improve heat transfer, and minimize cold-seizure risk.
  • Machined Smooth Head: Helps reflect combustion heat and reduce carbon buildup for improved piston protection.
  • Anodized Dome: Increases heat resistance and durability while providing greater strength than a non-anodized piston.
  • Hypereutectic Casting: Higher silicon content helps reduce expansion, improve wear resistance, and withstand elevated cylinder temperatures.
  • Standard Bore Application: Designed for a 66.34 mm standard-bore, 8.5:1 compression setup in Nikasil-plated cylinders.
  • Fitment: Compatible with 1992-1996 Honda CR250R models.
