The NAMURA NA-30010-4K Top End Kit is designed for select Suzuki and Arctic Cat 400 ATV applications. This 82.96 mm, +1.00 mm oversize kit features an 11:1 compression ratio and includes the key components needed for a top-end rebuild, including a piston, piston rings, wrist pin, retaining clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit. It is engineered for dependable fitment and reliable performance in compatible 400 cc engines.
Built using NAMURA's hypereutectic casting process, the piston provides increased silicon content for reduced expansion, improved wear resistance, and dependable operation at elevated cylinder temperatures. The MOS2, or Teflon/Molybdenum, coated skirts use a rolled-on application process that creates a stronger bond than typical spray-on coatings. This coating helps improve heat transfer, reduce friction, and minimize the risk of cold seizures.
The piston also features a machined smooth head to reflect combustion heat and help reduce carbon buildup. Its anodized dome improves heat resistance and durability, while offering greater strength than a non-anodized dome. The NAMURA NA-30010-4K fits select 2002 Suzuki LT-A400 Eiger 2X4 Auto, 2003 Arctic Cat 400 4X4 Auto, 2008-2009 Suzuki LT-A400F KingQuad AS with SRA, and 2011-2016 Suzuki LT-A400F KingQuad ASi with IRS models.
