The NAMURA NA-10027K Top End Kit is a complete standard-bore engine rebuild solution for select Honda ATV applications. Designed with a 68.45 mm piston and an 11:1 compression ratio, this kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, retaining clips, top-end bearing, and gasket kit needed for a reliable top-end service. The kit is engineered for direct fitment on 2001–2008 Honda TRX250EX Sportrax models and 2002–2003 Honda TRX250TE Recon ES [SRA] models.
The hypereutectic casting process increases silicon content to help control expansion, improve wear resistance, and withstand higher cylinder temperatures. The piston features MOS2, or Teflon/Molybdenum, coated skirts applied using a rolled-on process designed to create a stronger bond than conventional spray-on coatings. This coating helps improve heat transfer, reduce friction, and minimize the risk of cold seizures during operation.
The machined smooth piston head helps reflect combustion heat and reduce carbon buildup, supporting piston protection and consistent engine performance. An anodized dome adds heat resistance and durability, while providing greater strength than a non-anodized piston dome. As a complete NAMURA top-end replacement kit, the NA-10027K is suited for restoring compression and refreshing the upper engine assembly during maintenance or rebuild work.
