The Motion Pro Blackout Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 18-2004 and vendor part number 70-182004, is a standard-length replacement cable designed for select Indian motorcycles. It features a black vinyl housing and black fittings for a clean, understated appearance that complements blacked-out bike builds. This clutch cable is engineered to provide dependable operation and a precise connection between the clutch lever and clutch assembly.
Motion Pro's LW (Longitudinally Wound) construction helps resist compression under heavy loads, delivering a positive, consistent clutch feel without the mushiness often associated with lesser cable designs. The result is enhanced clutch performance, smoother engagement, and reliable control for street riding and touring applications. Its standard-length configuration is intended to match the original equipment cable routing on compatible models.
Fitment includes the 2021 Indian Springfield, Springfield Dark Horse, Chieftain Dark Horse, Roadmaster, Roadmaster Dark Horse, and Chieftain Elite. It also fits the 2022 Indian Springfield, Springfield Dark Horse, Chieftain, and Chieftain Dark Horse. Verify your motorcycle's original equipment application and cable requirements before installation, including compatibility with Indian OE number 7082614. The Motion Pro brand and part number 18-2004 provide a trusted replacement option for maintaining accurate clutch control and a factory-style fit.
