The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Speedometer Cable, manufacturer part number 05-0001 and vendor part number 70-5001, is designed to provide reliable replacement performance for select Yamaha motorcycles. This cable uses precise OEM component dimensions and is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, helping support accurate speedometer operation and dependable service in street and sport riding applications.
Built for smooth, consistent movement, the cable features a special nylon inner liner that reduces friction during operation. An extra outer sleeve helps protect the cable from abrasion and environmental exposure, while the black vinyl covering provides a clean, factory-style appearance. The Motion Pro part number is embossed on the cable, and the OEM part number is listed on the package for convenient identification during installation or future maintenance.
Fitment includes the 1992–1998 Yamaha XJ600S Diversion/Seca II and select Yamaha YZF750R models from 1994, 1996, and 1997. Confirm the motorcycle model, year, and existing cable configuration before installation. The color-coded header card identifies the machine brand, making the cable easier to select and organize with other Motion Pro replacement control and instrument cables.
