The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch LW Cable, manufacturer part number 06-0146 and vendor part number 70-6146, is designed to provide dependable clutch control and a precise operating feel on select Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Its longitudinally wound black housing helps resist compression under heavy loads, supporting positive clutch engagement and reducing the soft, mushy sensation that can affect standard cable designs.
Built for durability and smooth operation, this clutch cable features a polyethylene liner and premium chrome fittings. The PE liner helps reduce friction for consistent lever movement, while the chrome fittings provide a durable, finished appearance and reliable connection at the clutch and control points. The cable is suited for riders and technicians seeking a quality replacement for the original clutch cable.
Fitment includes 1987-1994 Harley-Davidson FXR Super Glide models and 1990-1991 Harley-Davidson FXLR Low Rider Custom models. Verify the motorcycle year, model, cable routing, and original cable specifications before installation. This Motion Pro cable is intended as a direct replacement-style component for compatible applications and should be installed according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures.
