Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable 05-0403 for 2009-2014 Yamaha YZF-R1

The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 05-0403 and vendor part number 70-5403, is designed for dependable clutch control on select Yamaha sport motorcycles. This replacement cable fits the 2009 through 2014 Yamaha YZF-R1, including the 2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 LE model. It is built to provide a precise, positive clutch feel for street, track, and performance-focused riding applications.

The cable features a longitudinally wound black housing that resists compression under heavy loads. This construction helps reduce a mushy lever sensation and supports consistent clutch engagement. Premium chrome fittings provide a durable, finished connection, while the polyethylene liner promotes smooth cable operation and long-lasting performance.

Installation should be completed using the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures, with proper routing and adjustment verified before operation. Confirm the year and model of your Yamaha YZF-R1 before ordering to ensure correct fitment. Motion Pro is recognized for producing motorcycle control cables and components engineered for reliable performance and precise operation.
