The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 05-0387 and vendor part number 05-0387, is designed to provide dependable clutch control for select Yamaha sport ATVs. Its black longitudinally-wound housing resists compression under heavy loads, helping deliver a precise, positive clutch feel without a soft or mushy response. This makes it a suitable replacement cable for riders who expect consistent operation during demanding use.
Built with premium chrome fittings and a durable PE liner, this cable supports smooth clutch actuation and long-term service. The PE liner reduces friction between the inner cable and housing, while the reinforced longitudinally-wound construction helps maintain cable response under load. The black vinyl exterior provides a clean replacement appearance and is engineered for reliable routing through the original cable path.
Fitment includes the 2011 Yamaha YFZ450X SE; 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017 Yamaha YFZ450R; and the 2009 Yamaha YFZ450R SE. Verify the year, model, and original cable routing before installation to confirm compatibility. This Motion Pro replacement clutch cable is suited for restoring smooth, predictable clutch operation on compatible Yamaha YFZ models.
