The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 05-0224 and vendor part number 70-5224, is designed to provide reliable clutch operation and a precise, positive feel for select Yamaha motocross motorcycles. Its longitudinally wound black housing is engineered to resist compression under heavy loads, helping reduce a soft or mushy lever response during demanding riding conditions.
Built for durability and smooth operation, this clutch cable features a polyethylene liner that supports consistent cable movement and long-lasting performance. Premium chrome fittings provide a clean, durable finish and help ensure dependable installation. The Motion Pro cable is an excellent replacement for the original clutch cable when restoring proper clutch control on compatible Yamaha models.
Fitment includes the 1997–2001 Yamaha YZ80 and the 2002–2006 Yamaha YZ85. Confirm the motorcycle model and year before ordering to ensure proper application. This Motion Pro replacement cable is intended for riders and technicians seeking dependable fit, smooth clutch actuation, and enhanced control in off-road and motocross use.
