The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 05-0013 and vendor part number 70-5013, is designed to provide dependable clutch operation and a precise, positive feel. This replacement cable fits select Yamaha XS650 and XS650S Special motorcycles from the 1975 through 1983 model years, making it a suitable choice for maintenance, restoration, or replacement applications.
Constructed with a longitudinally wound black housing, this Motion Pro cable resists compression under heavy loads. The reinforced housing helps reduce cable flex for more consistent clutch engagement and a less spongy feel during operation. Premium chrome fittings provide a durable connection at the cable ends and complement the cable’s functional design.
A polyethylene liner supports smooth cable movement and helps promote long service life. The liner also reduces friction between the inner cable and housing, contributing to lighter, more consistent clutch lever action. The Black Vinyl Clutch Cable is engineered for direct fitment on the following applications: 1978–1983 Yamaha XS650S Special and 1975–1978 Yamaha XS650.
