The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 04-0227 and vendor part number 70-4227, is designed to provide dependable clutch operation and a precise, positive feel for select Suzuki GSX-R motorcycles. Its longitudinally wound black housing resists compression under heavy loads, helping reduce a soft or mushy lever response during demanding street or track riding.
Feature: The durable black vinyl housing is longitudinally wound to maintain cable performance under load. Premium chrome fittings provide a clean appearance and reliable connection points, while the polyethylene liner promotes smooth cable movement and extended service life. This Motion Pro replacement clutch cable is a practical choice for restoring consistent clutch engagement and lever feel on compatible Suzuki applications.
Fitment includes the 2001–2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 1997–2003 Suzuki GSX-R600. Verify the motorcycle model year and existing cable routing before installation to ensure proper compatibility. The cable is supplied in black and is manufactured by Motion Pro for replacement use on the listed Suzuki GSX-R models.
