The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable, manufacturer part number 04-0220 and vendor part number 70-4220, is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the clutch cable on select Suzuki SV650 motorcycles. It fits 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Suzuki SV650 models, helping restore consistent clutch operation and dependable rider control.
Built with a longitudinally wound black housing, this cable resists compression under heavy loads. That construction supports a precise, positive clutch feel and helps reduce the soft or mushy sensation associated with lower-quality replacement cables. Premium chrome fittings provide a durable connection at the cable ends and complement the cable’s rugged construction.
A polyethylene liner promotes smooth cable movement and long-lasting durability, helping deliver reliable clutch engagement through regular use. The Motion Pro 04-0220 cable is a practical replacement choice for maintaining proper clutch performance during street riding, maintenance, or restoration of compatible Suzuki SV650 motorcycles.
