The Motion Pro Black Vinyl Clutch Cable is designed to provide smooth, consistent clutch operation for select Honda motocross motorcycles. Manufacturer part number 02-0579 and vendor part number 70-2579 identify this replacement cable, which fits 2009–2014 Honda CRF450R models and 2010–2013 Honda CRF250R models. It is a practical replacement for a worn, stretched, or damaged original clutch cable.
Built with a longitudinally wound black housing, this Motion Pro cable resists compression under heavy loads. The reinforced housing helps deliver a precise, positive clutch feel without the soft or mushy response associated with cable compression. A durable polyethylene liner supports smooth cable movement and reliable operation during demanding riding conditions.
Premium chrome fittings provide a clean appearance and dependable connection at the motorcycle’s clutch controls. The black vinyl finish complements the original equipment styling while offering durable protection for the cable assembly. This cable is intended for direct fitment on the specified Honda models and is suited to motocross, off-road, and performance riding applications.
Before installation, compare the routing and cable ends with the original equipment cable and verify model-year compatibility. Proper routing and adjustment are essential for smooth clutch engagement and safe operation.
