The Mitas Terra Force-MX Sand 2 rear tire is designed for motocross motorcycles that demand strong forward drive and predictable control on sand tracks and deep, wet, or freshly tilled dirt. This 110/90-19 62M tire features a specialized paddle-style tread with wide voids that help maintain traction during acceleration, cornering, and braking. The Terra Force-MX Sand 2 is identified by its distinctive two red stripes and replaces the previous Terra Force-MX Sand rear tire. Manufacturer: Mitas. Manufacturer Part Number: 70000936. Vendor Part Number: 70000936.
The tread pattern is optimized to maximize traction in loose terrain while reducing knob flotation in deep soil. Its deep paddle design provides effective drive through soft sand, while knobby braking edges and dishing help prevent skating or unloading during hard braking. This design gives riders improved stability and confidence when entering turns, accelerating out of berms, or managing changing track conditions. For best performance, Mitas recommends pairing this rear tire with either the Terra Force-MX Sand front or Terra Force-MX SM front tire.
A high-performance hard rubber compound supports dependable traction and helps resist chunking during demanding motocross use. The specially developed carcass adds lateral support for improved handling and control under aggressive riding conditions. Built for riders who prioritize consistent performance on well-prepared motocross tracks and challenging loose surfaces, the Mitas Terra Force-MX Sand 2 offers a focused rear-tire solution for sand and deep-soil applications. Verify wheel, motorcycle, and terrain compatibility before installation, and follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s recommendations for fitment, mounting, and tire pressure.
