Its specially developed Racing Soft (RS) compound is engineered to provide superb straight-line stability at high speeds, along with precise grip at extreme lean angles when operating at a service temperature of 176°F.
Designed for race-track performance, this W-rated tire is specified for speeds up to 168 mph. For track use, MITAS recommends tire warmers for at least 50 minutes at 176°F, along with following hot- and cold-pressure guidelines until the best pressure combination is established for the motorcycle, track conditions and riding style. The tire was tested by Randy Krummenacher on supersport and sport naked motorcycles to deliver strong lap-time performance.
