The MICHELIN X Tweel tire and wheel assembly is an airless radial tire designed for difficult environments, rugged roads, jagged terrain and demanding off-road conditions. This front/rear assembly features a 26x11N14 size, a 4/110 bolt pattern, a 6+4 offset and a +35 mm offset specification. The flat black finish complements the assembly’s rugged construction.
Zero-degree belts beneath the tread and Michelin’s proprietary design provide lateral stiffness while helping resist damage and support cornering and side-hill stability. High-strength poly-resin spokes carry the load, absorb impacts and help reduce the bounce associated with pneumatic tires. Michelin’s proprietary Comp10 Cable forms a semi-rigid shear beam that allows the load to hang from the top of the assembly.
The X Tweel is supplied as a single unit with a heavy-gauge steel hub and requires no air pressure maintenance after installation. Its non-directional tread pattern supports versatile use in challenging terrain. The lug nut seat type is 60-degree conical/tapered.
