The Metzeler Roadtec 01 front motorcycle tire is designed for riders who want dependable performance, confident handling, and consistent service life across daily commuting and extended road use. This front tire uses a 110/70-17 size with a 54H speed and load rating, making it a practical fit for compatible motorcycles requiring responsive road-oriented performance. The manufacturer part number and vendor part number are 3132400.
The Roadtec 01 features a revised tread design and land-to-sea ratio that improve wear resistance and help maintain balanced performance throughout the tire’s service life. Its tread pattern is engineered to provide reliable grip on wet roads, including low-friction surfaces such as city streets, worn pavement, and cooler road conditions. Radially positioned grooves help manage water while supporting predictable traction in changing weather.
Metzeler has also rebalanced the tire’s stiffness to improve how the rubber conforms to microscopic irregularities in the pavement. This construction helps increase mechanical grip on surfaces with reduced friction and contributes to stable, controlled motorcycle handling. Compared with the Roadtec Z8 Interact, the Roadtec 01 is designed to deliver up to 10% increased mileage, while its larger, shorter footprint supports responsive steering and a planted feel through corners. Select the Metzeler Roadtec 01 only when its 110/70-17 54H specification matches the motorcycle manufacturer’s fitment requirements.
