Kuryakyn 6284 Universal Mechanical Throttle Cruise Assist Chrome

The simplest, cleanest throttle position holder on the market. Open the throttle to the desired position, then roll the throttle back; a spring-loaded tensioner keeps the throttle in place, simply roll the throttle forward to disengage.

The Kuryakyn 6284 Universal Mechanical Throttle Cruise Assist in chrome is a simple throttle position holder designed to help maintain a desired throttle position. Open the throttle to the desired position, then roll the throttle back to engage the spring-loaded tensioner. To disengage, simply roll the throttle forward.

This throttle cruise assist attaches to the end of the handlebar like a bar-end weight and requires handlebars with open ends. Installation may require cutting or drilling a 5/8-inch hole in the end of the grips. It is designed for use with OEM grips, Kuryakyn ISO Grips, and ISO Flame grips. A matching left-side bar-end weight is available separately.

Fitment includes 2004–2009 Yamaha XV1700A Road Star and 2000–2001 Yamaha XVS1100A V Star 1100 Classic and Yamaha XVS1100 V Star 1100 Custom models.
