The Hot Rods OSK0009 Countershaft Seal Kit provides a complete solution for repairing a leaking countershaft seal on select small-displacement motocross motorcycles. Designed for dependable service and straightforward installation, this kit helps restore proper sealing around the countershaft and supports reliable drivetrain operation.
Manufactured by Hot Rods and supplied under vendor part number OSK0009, the kit includes a countershaft seal, countershaft bushing, O-rings, and sprocket nut washer where applicable. The included components are selected to work together as a practical replacement package, helping reduce the need to source individual sealing and hardware components separately. This product is intended for the specified model fitments and should be matched to the motorcycle's year, model, and wheel-size configuration before installation.
Fitment includes the 2014 through 2016 Husqvarna TC 85 with 17/14-inch wheels, as well as the 2003 through 2009 KTM 85 SX with 17/14-inch wheels. The Hot Rods OSK0009 kit is suitable for countershaft seal service on these applications and is a useful choice for maintenance or repair work when leakage is present. Always inspect related drivetrain components during installation and follow the motorcycle manufacturer's service procedures for torque specifications and assembly.
This kit does not include a water pump bearing or transmission bearings. Verify the model year, engine configuration, and required components before ordering to ensure the kit is appropriate for the motorcycle being serviced.
