Unlike camshafts developed solely for peak dyno output, this Hot Cams design uses carefully engineered opening ramps to promote a cleaner intake charge and a more efficient combustion cycle. The result is stronger overall performance with more responsive operation and improved throttle behavior. The Stage 2 profile is designed to work with stock valve springs and rocker arms in most applications, and no core is required. Adjustable cam sprockets may be supplied on select applications.

This camshaft fits 1993–1995 Yamaha YFM400FA Kodiak 4WD models with SRA suspension and 2000–2006 Yamaha YFM400FB Big Bear 4WD models with SRA suspension.
