However, more power and better throttle response is a difficult design problem. Hotcams’ ITR technology solved this dilemma through highly engineered opening ramps not found on other cams. Using ITR technology, the critical ramp area is designed to give your engine a cleaner intake charge and a more efficient combustion cycle, making your engine more responsive at all throttle openings and giving the rider better feel and control of the engine! The Hot Cams Racing Cam Stage 1, manufacturer part number 2036-1S and vendor part number 68-2022, is a high-performance camshaft designed to improve throttle response, engine feel, and power delivery in select Kawasaki and Arctic Cat ATV applications. Hot Cams developed this camshaft with Improved Throttle Response (ITR) technology, using precisely engineered opening ramps to support a cleaner intake charge and a more efficient combustion cycle.

ITR technology helps the engine respond more quickly at all throttle openings, giving the rider improved control and a more predictable powerband. This Stage 1 racing camshaft is designed for performance-focused applications and is intended to work with stock valve springs and rockers in most fitments. No camshaft core is required, and adjustable cam sprockets are supplied with some models where applicable.

Fitment includes the 2013–2014 Kawasaki KVF750 Brute Force 4X4i EPS with IRS; 2006 Arctic Cat 650 4X4 H1 SE; 2006–2011 Kawasaki KVF650 Brute Force 4X4 with SRA; and the 2013 Kawasaki KVF650 Brute Force 4X4 with SRA. Confirm the exact vehicle configuration before installation, as fitment may vary by model year, drivetrain, and suspension package. Professional installation and proper valve-train setup are recommended.

This Hot Cams Racing Cam Stage 1 is intended for racing and off-road use. It is not legal for use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles; race-use restrictions apply in California, and a waiver may be available.
