The HJC DS-X1 is a dual-sport adventure helmet designed for on-road and off-road riding. This small, solid silver helmet supports three riding configurations: shield and visor, shield only, or visor only with goggles. Its 3D CAD-designed Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell provides a comfortable fit, a wide range of motion, and an expansive eye port for improved visibility and goggle compatibility. Glasses grooves accommodate riders who wear eyeglasses.
The aerodynamic dual-function visor helps reduce lift at highway speeds while supporting airflow. The helmet includes a Pinlock-prepared HJ-27 shield for an anti-fog lens; the insert lens is sold separately. An easy converting system allows the helmet to change from a shield-and-visor setup to a visor-only configuration. A large adjustable mouth vent and HJC’s ACS Advanced Channeling ventilation system direct cool air through the helmet while exhausting heat and humidity through the rear spoiler.
The SuperCool textile interior is moisture-wicking, antibacterial, removable, and washable. A Double D-ring closure secures the helmet. Manufacturer part number: 262518. Vendor part number: 262518.
