The HJC RPHA 31 Dereen MC5SF is an open-face motorcycle helmet designed for riders who want refined aerodynamics, reduced wind noise, and dependable protection for urban commuting and extended road use. This XS helmet features HJC’s Premium Integrated Matrix (PIM) Evo shell, combining carbon-aramid hybrid and natural fiber reinforcement materials for enhanced shock resistance, reduced weight, and improved comfort. The elongated shell profile and extended chin EPS provide a more encompassing fit while maintaining the open-face design.
Wind tunnel development helps the HJC RPHA 31 remain stable at speed while reducing air resistance and turbulence. A full front-to-back ventilation system uses two intake vents and four exhaust vents to promote airflow during changing riding conditions. The integrated smoke-tinted sun visor includes an anti-fog coating and can be deployed through the convenient bottom-positioned mechanism. Its multi-step adjustment allows the visor to be positioned closer to the face for personalized shade and comfort. The included Pinlock® 120XLT® DKS467-ready HJ-39 shield provides 99% ultraviolet protection and features an anti-scratch coating.
The HJC RPHA 31 includes a premium-fit interior made with advanced antibacterial fabric that helps wick moisture and dry quickly. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, while interchangeable cheek pads support a more precise fit across helmet sizes. Reflective material improves visibility in low-light conditions. The shield holder helps reduce noise and aerodynamic drag while keeping the visor securely in place. The helmet also accommodates second-generation SMART HJC Bluetooth communication systems, sold separately, for connected riding without diverting attention from the road. Manufacturer: HJC.
