The Fly Racing Youth Formula S Carbon Legacy Helmet is a premium off-road helmet designed for young riders who demand advanced protection, ventilation, and comfort. This Red Carbon/Black helmet in Youth Large features the Fly Racing Adaptive Impact System (AIS), combining multiple impact-management technologies to help reduce forces from both linear and rotational impacts. The 12K carbon fiber shell provides a lightweight construction with excellent penetration resistance, making it well suited for motocross, off-road, and powersports riding.
Protection features include Rheon Impact Energy Cells, which help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, and Conehead EPS Technology, which uses tuned cone structures to manage impact energy across six critical zones. Expanded-volume EPS provides additional energy-absorbing material in strategic areas, while the expanded polypropylene chin bar offers added damage resistance and impact mitigation. A clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to create a softer area intended to help reduce forces around the collarbone. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved for use where applicable.
Comfort and airflow are supported by a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. Fly Racing True Functional Ventilation forces air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels, and rear exhaust vents to help maintain airflow while riding. Custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard adds coverage and durability. The helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor. Optional cold-weather accessories include the Fly Racing cold-weather breath box, vendor part number 73-47209, and cold-weather helmet liner, vendor part number 73-47208YL.
