The FLY RACING Youth Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet is designed for off-road riders seeking a lightweight carbon fiber shell and advanced impact-management features. This Red Carbon/Red/Grey helmet uses a 12K carbon fiber shell for penetration resistance and incorporates RHEON Impact Energy Cells to help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts. Conehead® EPS Technology, six tuned impact zones, expanded-volume EPS, and an expanded polypropylene chin bar provide additional impact-mitigation features throughout the helmet.
The helmet includes Quin® Race Sensor technology with five scientific-grade sensors that evaluate data during use and can automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App and Bluetooth 5.0 connection, riders can access crash detection, emergency-contact notifications, SOS Beacon functionality, and ride analytics such as live GPS tracking, speed, accelerations, and Q-Score. A five-diamond-level monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services for APEX subscribers. Integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs.
Wireless updates help keep the device current with developments from FLY RACING and Quin®. The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and provides up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions. True Functional Ventilation directs air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels, and rear exhaust vents. A washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner, quick-release cheek pads, custom-molded rubber trim with integrated nose guard, and a clavicle shell relief zone add functional riding comfort. This Youth Large helmet includes a premium helmet garage and extra visor. Manufacturer part number: 73-4451YL. Vendor part number: 73-4451YL.
