The Fly Racing Youth Formula CC Strike Helmet is designed to provide young riders with advanced protection, comfort, and ventilation for off-road riding. Finished in a gray, black, and hi-vis yellow color scheme, this youth helmet features a Tri-Weave composite shell made from carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass. This construction helps reduce weight while providing strong penetration resistance. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved for appropriate riding applications.
Protection is enhanced by Fly Racing's Conehead® dual-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) technology, which uses cone-shaped structures to help manage impact energy efficiently. RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, while six tuned impact zones provide a progressive response across low- and high-speed impacts. Expanded-volume EPS adds additional impact-absorbing material in strategic areas, and the Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) chin bar offers further energy absorption and damage resistance. A clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce forces around the collarbone area.
Comfort and airflow are supported by a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents to help maintain airflow while riding. Custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard, and a soft fleece helmet bag is included for storage and transport.
