The FLY RACING Youth CE Revel Roost Guard is designed to provide upper-torso impact protection in a low-profile format that can be worn under a jersey. Its full upper-torso plastic roost deflector uses a BioFoam® chassis attachment system with soft plastics and TPR rubbers, eliminating injury-causing plastic rivets and high points that could create discomfort during an impact. Molded air channels and multiple vents help promote airflow.
Protection is provided by a triple-layer, high-density memory foam construction positioned between the outer plastic and the BioFoam layer that contacts the user. The layered design allows the materials to move relative to one another, supporting improved impact performance. The guard is CE tested and certified as impact protection to EN1621-2 Level 1, FprEN1621-3, and Me-Int 097.
The removable, thermoformed soft BioFoam chassis is designed for increased comfort and easy washing. Adjustable shoulder straps and waist belt buckles integrated into the chest plastic support a comfortable fit. The neck brace-compatible design can be used by sliding the guard underneath the plastics or by removing the chest and back plastic panels, depending on the neck brace design.
