The FLY Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet combines advanced impact-management features with connected ride monitoring in a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell. This black carbon, grey and hi-vis helmet includes Quin® Race Sensor technology, which uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, crash data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. A 5-diamond monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services for APEX subscribers.
The helmet also provides an SOS Beacon function that can notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers by tapping the helmet five times. Ride analytics include live GPS tracking, speed, accelerations and Q-Score information. Bluetooth 5.0 connects the device to the Fly Smart App, while wireless updates provide the latest developments from FLY Racing and Quin®. Protection and comfort features include RHEON Impact Energy Cells for managing low-speed linear and rotational impacts, Conehead® EPS Technology with six tuned impact-management zones, expanded-volume EPS and an expanded polypropylene chin bar. A clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. The helmet has custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, plus washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. True Functional Ventilation forces air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels and rear exhaust vents.
