The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Solid Youth Helmet in White is a lightweight, high-performance off-road helmet designed for young riders who need advanced impact protection, ventilation, and comfort. This Youth Large model features a 12K carbon fiber shell that helps reduce overall weight while providing superior penetration resistance. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved for dependable protection during motocross, off-road, and other powersports riding applications. Manufacturer part number and vendor part number: 73-4494YL.
Protection: The Adaptive Impact System (AIS) combines multiple technologies to help manage different types of impacts. RHEON Impact Energy Cells are designed to absorb low-speed linear and rotational forces, helping reduce energy transmitted to the brain. Conehead® EPS Technology uses tuned impact-absorbing cones across six critical zones for progressive response to both low- and high-speed impacts. Expanded-volume EPS adds strategically placed material for increased protection between the rider’s head and the ground.
Construction: An expanded polypropylene chin bar provides additional impact mitigation, damage resistance, and energy absorption. The clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to create a softer area intended to help reduce clavicle injury risk. Custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard for added coverage and durability.
Comfort and ventilation: The washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support a secure, comfortable fit and simplify cleaning. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) routes air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels, and rear exhaust vents to help maintain airflow while riding. The helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor. A cold-weather breath guard is available separately. Fitment is intended for youth riders requiring a Youth Large helmet size.
