The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Quin Smart Helmet combines advanced impact protection, lightweight carbon fiber construction, and connected safety technology for demanding motorcycle and powersports riders. This large helmet features a black carbon and red finish, a 12K carbon fiber shell, and integrated Quin technology designed to monitor ride conditions and respond quickly during a crash or emergency. Manufacturer part number and vendor part number: 73-4465L.
Five scientific-grade Quin sensors continuously evaluate riding data and can automatically detect a crash event. When connected to the Fly Smart App, the helmet can record impact information and notify designated emergency contacts. A five-tap SOS Beacon activation can also send an assistance request while you remain on the move. APEX subscribers may receive additional monitoring center support and local emergency service dispatch. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, live GPS tracking, speed and acceleration data, Q-Score reporting, wireless updates, and integrated status LEDs provide a connected riding experience.
Protection features include RHEON Impact Energy Cells for managing low-speed linear and rotational impacts, Conehead EPS Technology for progressive impact absorption, expanded-volume EPS, and an expanded polypropylene chin bar designed for energy management and damage resistance. A clavicle shell relief zone adds protective consideration around the lower helmet area. The washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support convenient maintenance and a secure fit. True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents to help manage airflow while riding.
The rechargeable system supports fast charging through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, aided by automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions. The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Quin Smart Helmet is intended for riders seeking a large-size helmet with integrated communications, emergency response features, and advanced protection technology. Always verify proper fit and applicable safety certification requirements before use.
