The FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet in Black Carbon/Grey/Hi Vis, size Small, combines advanced impact-management features with connected ride monitoring. Its 12K carbon fiber shell is designed to provide a lightweight construction with superior penetration resistance. Conehead® EPS Technology uses tuned impact zones for progressive response to low-speed and high-speed impacts, while expanded-volume EPS provides additional impact-absorbing material in strategic areas. An Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) chin bar adds another element of impact mitigation, and the clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. Custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard.
The integrated Quin® Race Sensor uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, crash impact data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. The helmet also supports SOS Beacon activation by tapping the helmet five times. Ride analytics include live GPS tracking, speed, accelerations and Q-Score. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, wireless updates and integrated LED status lights support the connected system. The rechargeable battery offers a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage.
Comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads use washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial material.
