The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Black Carbon/Teal/Lime, size Medium, combines advanced impact protection with connected safety technology for serious motorcycle and powersports riding. Manufactured by Fly Racing and identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4453M, this helmet is ECE and DOT approved for compliant protection on compatible street, adventure, and off-road applications.
Its 12K carbon fiber shell delivers a lightweight design with strong penetration resistance, while RHEON Impact Energy Cells help manage low-speed linear and rotational impacts. Conehead® EPS Technology, expanded-volume EPS, and an expanded polypropylene chin bar provide progressive impact absorption across six tuned zones. A clavicle shell relief zone, custom-molded rubber trim, and integrated nose guard further support rider protection. The washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads provide a secure, serviceable fit. True Functional Ventilation directs air through intake vents and aligned EPS channels before exhausting it through multiple rear vents.
Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate riding data and detect potential crash events. When paired with the Fly Smart App through Bluetooth 5.0, the helmet can record impact information, provide live GPS tracking and ride analytics, and support emergency communication features. Crash Detection can contact designated emergency contacts, while the SOS Beacon can be activated by tapping the helmet five times. APEX subscribers may also receive monitoring-center dispatch support. Integrated LED indicators display device status and flash red after a detected crash. Wireless updates help keep the connected system current, and the rechargeable battery supports fast charging through Micro USB with up to 60 days of standby life depending on usage.
The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte includes a premium helmet garage and an additional visor. It is designed for riders seeking a feature-rich, lightweight helmet with advanced ventilation, impact management, and connected safety support.
