The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Motorcycle Helmet combines advanced impact protection, lightweight construction, and connected safety technology for serious street and off-road riders. This size 2X helmet features a 12K carbon fiber shell engineered for high penetration resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile. It is ECE and DOT approved and includes Fly Racing manufacturer part number and vendor part number 73-44502X.
Integrated Quin® technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to continuously evaluate riding data and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, riders can access crash detection, emergency contact notifications, live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration data, and Q-Score ride analytics. The SOS Beacon can notify emergency contacts and emergency services by tapping the helmet five times, while APEX subscribers receive enhanced monitoring center support. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, wireless updates, and integrated LED status lights help keep the system current and easy to monitor.
Feature: RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts to reduce forces transferred to the brain. Conehead® EPS Technology uses strategically tuned cones and six critical impact zones to manage energy across low- and high-speed impacts. Expanded-volume EPS provides additional impact-absorbing material, while the EPP chin bar offers added energy absorption and damage resistance. A clavicle relief zone helps support impact mitigation around the collarbone area.
Comfort and usability features include washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads, custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, and True Functional Ventilation with multiple intake, internal, and rear exhaust channels. The rechargeable battery supports fast charging through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage. The helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor.
