The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Red Carbon/Red/Grey, size Small, combines advanced impact protection with connected safety technology for motorcycle and powersports riders. Manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4451S identifies this ECE- and DOT-approved helmet, designed for riders who want lightweight carbon fiber construction, effective ventilation, and integrated emergency assistance features. The 12K carbon fiber shell provides high penetration resistance, while the Conehead® EPS Technology and expanded-volume EPS help manage impact energy across multiple critical zones.
Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to continuously evaluate riding data and automatically detect a crash event. When paired with the Fly Smart App, the system can record impact information and notify designated emergency contacts. APEX subscribers can also access five-diamond monitoring center support for dispatch of local emergency services. The SOS Beacon feature allows riders to request assistance by tapping the helmet five times, even when they remain on the move. Ride analytics include live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, Q-Score, and related data.
The Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet uses Bluetooth® 5.0 connectivity, wireless updates, and integrated LED indicators for device status and crash notification. Its rechargeable battery supports fast charging through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and wake functions helping conserve power. True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents for improved airflow while riding.
Impact Energy Cells made from RHEON® help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, reducing forces transmitted to the brain. An EPP chin bar adds damage resistance and energy absorption, while clavicle shell relief helps support injury mitigation in the collarbone area. Washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liners and quick-release cheek pads improve fit and maintenance. Custom rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, an extra visor, and a premium helmet garage are included. The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte is intended for riders requiring a Small helmet size; verify head fitment and local safety requirements before use.
