The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Red Carbon, Red, and Grey is a premium full-face motorcycle helmet designed for riders who demand advanced protection, connected safety technology, and lightweight performance. This size 2X model features a 12K carbon fiber shell engineered for low weight and superior penetration resistance. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved, providing certified protection for a wide range of on-road and off-road riding applications. Manufacturer and vendor part number 73-44512X identifies this specific Formula S Carbon Byte configuration.
Safety technology is built into the helmet through the Quin® Race Sensor, which uses five scientific-grade sensors to continuously evaluate riding data and automatically detect crash events. When paired with the Fly Smart App, Crash Detection can record impact data and notify emergency contacts. APEX subscribers can also receive monitoring-center assistance and local emergency service dispatch. The SOS Beacon lets riders request assistance by tapping the helmet five times, while ride analytics provide live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration data, and Q-Score information. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, wireless updates, and integrated LED status lights support convenient operation.
Feature: RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, while Conehead® EPS Technology and expanded-volume EPS provide progressive impact management and additional energy-absorbing material in strategic areas. The expanded polypropylene chin bar adds damage resistance and energy absorption, and the clavicle shell relief zone helps reduce forces near the collarbone. True Functional Ventilation channels airflow through the helmet for cooling during motion. A custom-molded rubber trim with integrated nose guard, washable moisture-wicking antimicrobial comfort liner, and quick-release cheek pads improve daily usability and maintenance.
The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and wake functions. The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor. It is designed to fit riders seeking a connected, high-performance helmet for motorcycle, street, adventure, and other compatible powersports applications.
