The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Blue Carbon/Blue/White, size XS, combines advanced impact protection, lightweight construction, and connected safety technology for demanding motorcycle and powersports riding. Manufactured by Fly Racing and identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4452XS, this helmet is ECE and DOT approved for dependable use on compatible street, off-road, and track applications. Its 12K carbon fiber shell provides high penetration resistance while helping reduce overall helmet weight.
Integrated Quin technology supports connected crash response and ride awareness. Five scientific-grade sensors continuously evaluate riding data and can automatically detect a crash event. When paired with the Fly Smart App, the system can record impact information and notify designated emergency contacts. The SOS Beacon can also be activated by tapping the helmet five times when assistance is needed. APEX subscribers may receive additional monitoring-center emergency dispatch services. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity enables access to live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, Q-Score, and other ride analytics, while wireless updates keep the system current.
Feature: Impact Energy Cells made from RHEON help manage low-speed linear and rotational impacts. Feature: Conehead EPS Technology uses strategically tuned cones and six critical impact zones to provide progressive energy management across varying impact conditions. Feature: Expanded-volume EPS and an EPP chin bar add protective material and energy absorption in key areas, while a clavicle shell relief zone is designed to help reduce injury risk near the collarbone. Feature: True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents for effective airflow while riding.
The washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support a secure, comfortable fit. Integrated LED lights display device status and flash red after a detected crash. The rechargeable battery supports a fast charge through Micro USB and may provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on use, with automatic sleep and wake functions. The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor.
